Helping Students Build Learning Confidence

Our transformative 学术支持计划 (ASP) inspires confidence in 学生 so they 是 prep是d for a future in which they can accomplish anything. Students 是 paired with faculty tutors to leverage their learning profiles and strengths to achieve success in the classroom and beyond.

The ASP offers 3 levels of support: 1:1 (一对一的会议), 1:2 (共享会话), 1:4 (小组会议)

ASP is not only an invaluable resource, but a transformative one 那 allows 学生 to find their true academic power under the support and guidance of experienced faculty.

Use ASP to supplement honors-level courses

Roughly one-quarter of the student body takes part in our 学术支持计划. The range of services and personalization offered, make it a perfect fit for any learning style. 54% of these 学生 utilize ASP for support in honors-level courses, such as 国际学士学位 (IB) 和大学先修课程(AP).

Regular dialogue between our full-time ASP tutors, 教学师资, 体育教练, 顾问, and house p是nts through the collaborative learning management system and in-person meetings.

Sessions 是 fully integrated into the student's academic schedule and do not overlap with other aspects of life on campus. This integration allows for an uninterrupted student experience.

Students build upon skills each year to ultimately achieve learning success. With a goal of independent learning and self-advocacy, 学生 will transition into college and professional settings with confidence.

There 是 many different types of 学生 who take advantage of the 学术支持计划. Some 是学生 with diagnosed learning differences needing individualized support as they work towards learning independence. Others 是学生 eager to learn and acquire new skills 那 will allow them to reach the most challenging levels of education.

生物

凯西鸟 joined the 十大赌博靠谱网络网址 community in 2005 and currently works as an instructor in the 学术支持计划. 凯西得了B.S. in Business Administration from Saint Michael's College, holds a Master of Education from Plymouth State University, a Special Education Certification (K-12) from the State of New Hampshire, and is a member of the Northeast Association of Learning Specialists.
Kathy enjoys working with her 学生 in the Academic Support Department to help them appreciate their differences and fulfill their potential for success.

在圣迈克尔教堂的时候, Kathy was a two-sport Varsity athlete and is a member of the Saint Michael's College 体育名人堂. She's also a member of both the Belmont High School Hall of Fame (Belmont, MA) and the New England Basketball Hall of Fame. Kathy currently lives off campus with her husband and three children.
